Using Facebook to Remember Funny Kid Stuff

Currently, only my older child can talk. And he says some of the funniest things---many of which I post on Facebook because (a) I think others might also thing they're funny; and (b) I don't want to forget!  Today in the car, he was listing everything he wanted to do when he grows up...one of which sounded like "Flying boats under the ground."

Ever wonder if you could download all of your Facebook statuses, for all time?  Wonder no more...it's possible!

Too Tired to be Creative...and It's OK

Grown-Up Art Supplies are Cool

I realize now that my childhood interest in art may have been more intense than that of the average child. But early on, a new box of still-sharp Crayola crayons (the 64 box, especially) was one of life's greatest joys. Later, I moved on to Prismacolor pencils and markers. I had no idea that my art supplies would be such a thrill for my 2-1/2-year-old.

Digger Trucks! (Indoor "dirt")

The temperature dipped down again, after a glorious spring day yesterday. I was not in the mood to make a trek to the park, but my little guy wanted to play with his "digger trucks" in the dirt.

Baby Books and Scrapbooks...Oh My

One of the things I hear moms talking about is baby books---or more specifically, how they feel guilty for being "behind" on their scrapbooking efforts. Creative Toddler Lunches
